Last Updated
This Privacy Policy was last updated on 4 August 2026. We may revise this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or on our website.
Introduction
FAIFA Scores (“FAIFA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a mobile and web experience for live football scores, standings, fixtures, statistics, news, and personalized match alerts.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using FAIFA Scores, you agree to the practices described here.
We design our product to keep personal data limited to what is needed to run the service, sync your preferences, and deliver the alerts you request.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use FAIFA Scores, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — email address, display name, and authentication identifiers when you create or sign in to an account.
- Preferences — favorite teams and competitions, notification settings, language and personalization choices.
- Device and push data — device tokens and related identifiers required to deliver match alerts you enable.
- Usage signals — in-app interactions used to personalize surfaces such as For You and Daily Brief (for example, teams you follow and content you open).
- Support messages — information you voluntarily send when contacting us by email.
- Technical diagnostics — limited logs and error signals needed to keep the service reliable and secure.
We do not require access to your contacts, photos, or microphone to use core score-tracking features.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve FAIFA Scores.
- Sync favorites, settings, and personalization across your signed-in devices.
- Send push or in-app notifications you opt into (goals, kickoff, lineups, and similar alerts).
- Personalize home, For You, and Daily Brief experiences.
- Authenticate accounts, prevent abuse, and protect platform security.
- Respond to support requests and communicate service-related updates.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third-Party Services
We use trusted service providers to run FAIFA Scores. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services to us:
- Sports data — live scores, fixtures, standings, and related football facts are sourced through our backend from sports data providers (including API-Football).
- Authentication & database — account and preference storage is powered by Supabase.
- Hosting & delivery — website and related infrastructure may be hosted on providers such as Firebase Hosting / Google Cloud and edge networks used for performance and security.
- Push delivery — device notification services (Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging, as applicable) deliver alerts you enable.
If we enable additional analytics or advertising partners in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, request your consent.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as needed to provide FAIFA Scores, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, or meet legal, security, and accounting requirements.
When you delete your account, we remove your authentication record and associated personal profile data from our production systems, subject to short-term backups and residual logs that are purged on a rolling schedule.
Aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies you may be retained for product analytics and service improvement.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which can include:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to update inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion — request deletion of your personal information, including by deleting your account.
- Objection / restriction — object to or request limits on certain processing, where applicable.
- Portability — request a machine-readable export of information you provided, where applicable.
- Withdraw consent — turn off optional notifications or personalization features at any time in Settings.
To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your request before responding.
Account Deletion
You can delete your FAIFA Scores account at any time from inside the app:
- Open Settings → Security → Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion prompt. This action permanently removes your account access.
- Account deletion deletes your Auth user and cascades removal of associated personal rows from our database (favorites, notification preferences, and related profile data).
If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account and request deletion. We will confirm once the request is completed.
In-app path: Settings → Security → Delete Account
